Joiners required – Bench & Apprentice positions

Specific Heat's Tyne & Wear based Shopfitting Division
is expanding. We currently have vacancies for two joiners.
Bench Joiner
We're looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our team, building products and interiors for the retail sector. Based in the factory, you'll be responsible for manufacturing materials from drawings and assembling products. You should have at least three years' experience, be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or be time-served, and should have your own hand tools.
The ideal candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude, be able to work equally effectively as part of a team or under your own initiative, have good organisational skills, be able to manage your own time and fit in with others.

Apprentice Joiner
We're also looking for a keen and enthusiastic Apprentice Joiner. This is a factory and/or site based role and you'll be required to manufacture and assemble products for the interiors of retail outlets and other construction projects. This is a training role and Specific Heat will support the right candidate through an appropriately appointed college to NVQ Level 3 standard.
Both these roles are full-time permanent positions.
39 hour week: Monday to Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm; Friday, 8am – 3.30pm with 0.5hr unpaid lunch break.
