Specific Heat

Spread over three floors on the corner of Edinburgh's Princes Street and Castle Street, the
job involved a complete refit of the former Burger King outlet: everything from a new mains water supply to full ducted air conditioning and ventilation systems. All in just 14 weeks.

The ground floor, which was to house the main banking hall, presented one of the biggest challenges. Here, much of the ductwork was to remain exposed. Turning a potential problem into an opportunity, Specific Heat enclosed the ductwork in stainless steel cladding, complementing the contemporary, highly technical feel of this unique facility.

Building on this success, Specific Heat has gone on
to complete further projects with both HSBC and Sharkey Fit Out, who originally contracted us.
